In order to make the forum a place for fans to congregate, discuss the music, and continue to build the strong community that has been developing here through the years, we've made the decision to move the forum to a new place-in the good hands of the LART team, a Tea Leaf Green Fansite.

It's what many of you has asked for and it took us a bit to work out technical and administrative details, but the time has finally come for the forums we know and love to move to their new home!
Our Vision - The LART forums will be a place to interact with other fans of Tea Leaf Green in a manner that is grounded in respect for each other, and does not discourage newcomers from getting information or registering and participating in the forum. Lively conversation, dissenting opinion, and banter or insults between consenting individuals are generally allowed, but posts or threads may be moderated by forum moderators if they violate the terms of use. We will have clear moderator rules, terms of use, and different processes for moderating posts, threads and warnings/bannings.
We've got 7 moderators on board and have spent a lot of time developing new terms of use, processes, and whether or not seeing NSFW was an okay thing or not. (It's not okay, unless properly labeled.) With that, we want you to know that most everything you know and love about the forum is NOT going to change.
Some things are changing:
phpBB3: the lart forums will use phpBB3 which has tons of new functionality including reporting posts, ignoring users, and better PM management, and shadow topics when threads get moved, amongst other things.
Forum structure: we got creative-ish with forum names and will be instituting some thread title formulas for ease in finding information. We've got more ideas for restructuring in our back pockets, but are holding off until we get through this transition.
New Terms of Use: everyone will have to accept the new terms of use prior to their first login to the LART forums. These terms were developed by reviewing a number of other forums' terms (PT, nin, Fox.com, etc.). They are detailed and clear about what is and is not allowed and what the repercussions are for violating them are. Forum terms will be posted in a forum dedicated to open conversations about the LART forums.
Moderators: Our 7 moderators are all active forum members from a variety of timezones. We decided to take the "One New Day" tour name to heart, and selected all new moderators.
Blind Moderation: We are going to try out blind moderation - what this means is that you will not know exactly who is moderating. We trying this for two specific reasons:
1. We want moderators to be able to "just be a fan" sometimes
2. We are all getting a feel for administering a forum, blind moderation lets both the admins and the mods get through a trial period and potentially decide that moderating is not such a good idea without losing face.
This forum has been a great place for discussion about the band, making new friends, and laughing hysterically about a million different things - we want to keep it that way! So please hang tight with us these next few weeks and months as we get the hang of all of this. We're being very sincere when we say to contact us concerning ideas on improvement. We want this forum (and the entire site) to be a place where people come to have a good time. We're all here because we all love the music of Tea Leaf Green - rainb0ws and unic0rns 4 LF3!!!
